“Edisto is our perfect, happy place and Happy Place was the perfect place to stay for our family of 5’s Spring Break trip. I thought the one bathroom would be a problem, but as there were only two of us it wasn't. I don't think it would be an issue with even 4 people tbh. The AC and all appliances worked great. “This was our first visit to Edisto Beach, and what a fantastic hidden gem! We spent a wonderful week at Island Manor with our family including my mom who is 92. This house is so amazingly close to the beach. She was able to walk down easily and enjoy beach days! The icing on the cake was watching a loggerhead turtle building her nest one evening right in front of our home, a surreal experience! There is something quite special about this house, and we would love to return sometime in the future!...

“We spent 4 nights with grandparents and 4 teen-agers. Perfect set up for everyone. Plenty of fun on the dock, in the creek, and floating and paddling out to beach. And great views and breezes just sitting in the porch. Perfect lay-out for our three generations too. Wonderful trip!”

“We really enjoyed our stay. The sunrises and sunsets from the house were amazing. The large sliding windows on the front of the house let in the breeze coming off the water. The owners guestbook and photo collage on the island and their family history was really cool. The only downside was the inability to ride a golf cart to Eddingsville Beach, but we made do with bicycles and kids carts. The privacy and seclusion was great.”
