“I stayed at casa de leyendas for three nights . I found the staff very pleasant and helpful, the decor of the room was charmingly colourful in traditional Mexican style and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was good and access to Macaws next door very handy. Given the close proximity to the busy Malecón, this small hotel was pretty quiet. Access to patio and terraces was a bonus, including the roof terrace with ocean view. Would definitely consider staying there again. ”

“Despite the poor reviews about communication with managers, we actually got into our place right at 3:00. It might have been a challenge if we hadn’t been right there waiting. It was a quaint and comfortable place, that seemed to have an interesting history. Very close to main plaza. Kitchen had the basics. It would have been nice to have 5 gallons of filtered water available and at least one kitchen towel. Overall a comfortable stay.”
