“La Posada was a cozy place to stay! Unit and grounds were both well maintained. Bed was comfortable, shower clean and refreshing. Entry way provided large coat rack for all the outdoor clothing you will need. Location is walking distance to many restaurants and downtown shopping. Also, this is a short drive to both scenic Rio Grand Gorge and Taos ski resort. ”

“Brenda is a great host, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The place is absolutely silent, which is good for the soul. We walked in the fresh snow to the edge of the gorge and it was beautiful. My only disappointment was that the fireplace in the suite is off limits due to some totally legitimate technical issues. Knowing that ahead of time wouldn't have made a difference except that I wouldn't have got my hopes up for a fire next to the bed. Arriving close to sunset while it was snowing meant...

“Overall an enjoyable stay. Our group enjoyed the large kitchen, lounging by the fireplace, and working puzzles on the dining room table. Plenty of space for our group of 8 adults. Older, charming, traditional adobe with low ceilings (several head bumps for our 6'-2" folks). Some furnishings could use a bit of freshening up. As others have noted some sort of critters are periodically active above the ceilings. Baseboard heating lacks room by room control, so sleeping temperatures in bedrooms vary...

“We had a wonderful stay, great place for cooking dinner and the warm floors were my favorite. Great safe place close to everything, and the kitchen is a great size. We cooked Christmas dinner and felt just like at home. I will comeback to this place.”

“This very nice and comfortable casita is only a few blocks from the historic plaza. We were able to walk to most places around the center of town. The bed was comfortable and had a mattress warmer which was nice since we were here in February. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much.”

“I was treating my girlfriend to my favorite place in the country Taos New Mexico her first time and she was so amazed at the room that I reserved. And I was too everywhere we looked it was most beautifully appointed and creative taosena style of an artist I would even love to meet! Had the atmosphere and feel of the Taos home and artists home. I was in a good place!! ”
