Hotel vicino a Emma Wood State Beach - Ventura

“Cleanliness was very good. The free Breakfast was also very good... enough options and a bonus. Excellent location! Little things...the bathroom mirror frame had some "paint missing" areas ... that's an easy fix, so why not do it! :) Also, most old hotels/motels near the ocean have a lingering musty smell...I wish they could figure out a way to diffuse it or eliminate it! Great place for the price.”

“Austen's restaurant is boarded up, was red tagged by county & an eye sore thoughout the property. Under construction is no where listed on Expedia or the website. Because I had a separate reservation for next day I was told to call & check if this room would still be available for tomorrow. As told I called front desk from the room multiple times & no answer. Next day I let Macy know I had been calling all morning, she said they never got a call and would let maintenance know about the phones....

“We were right on the beach. 2nd floor with a balcony. It was perfect. Everyone was so nice. We woke up to coffee and little snacks. All the restaurants are good. Walking distance to fish tacos and the best donut place, and a bar with weekend bands. We are going back”

“Having stayed in a pretty bad similar cost hotel just down the street the week before, this one was a breath of fresh air. Clearly recently remodeled and great for the price. The shower was a little dark and there were a couple of cracked tiles in the bathroom but the fridge was cold, the bed was fine, the desk was nice, the carpet looked new. It’s not the Grand Hyatt but it was perfectly located for what I was doing and totally fine.”
