Otis Ln in Estes Park
The house was beautiful and large enough to accommodate our family. It was well stocked and you could tell that a lot of care has been put into the property. The location couldn’t be better for a trip to Estes Park! The only issue we had, and the reason this property doesn’t get 5 stars, is that on the first day of our visit we noticed a particular smell coming from the lower level of the house. We reported it to the property custodian and he came out to have a look. He told us that it was overflowing septic/sewer (don’t remember exactly which) and he would deal with it. Well we stayed for a full week and didn’t hear back from him again. A little investigating on our part showed us standing waste water under one of the locked doors downstairs which was concerning to our group. The lower level smelled terrible the entire time so we closed it off and had the kids all sleep upstairs on the sofas and floors. Two more texts to the contact over the week with no response. We hope they are able to resolve this issue quickly for the next guests. Aside from this problem, everything else was great and we enjoyed our trip.

Peaceful, relaxing paradise!
We stayed here from May 25- June 1st. The house is actually larger than it appears in pictures. There was so much room for all of us to spread out. It was laid out very conveniently for socializing and cooking in the kitchen , dining room and the little breakfast nook. We cooked in almost all of our meals, and found staples in the kitchen. Oils, spices and plenty of dishes. We used the massive living room for viewing the daily deer and moose that traveled in front of the house. The big beautiful windows were perfect for seeing all the wildlife and nature. There was a laundry room right off the kitchen that came in so handy to wash our clothes after a long day of hiking. We could walk into town in about 10--15 minutes although it was along a busy road. We did find a nice sidewalk across the street that we used. The house was very clean, had good beds, soft towels and hot water. . Even the bathrooms had so much room. We stayed with our 2 sons and daughter in law. Our single son had the whole basement to himself for privacy. We came to hike and we went to RMNP daily. It was only a short 15 minute drive to the entrance which was so convenient. The weather was perfect for hiking, cool at night in the 40's and 50's and in the 60's in the daytime. The main Trail ridge road was not open during our stay but it opened the day we left June 1st. Some of the trails still had snow like the Dream lake trail but we just used spikes and poles and had no trouble. Awesome stay!

May in Rocky Mountain NP
The location was perfect for visiting Rocky Mountain National Park. The house is formatted perfectly for spending time with the family. We were able to have breakfast and watch the elk in the neighborhood. The chairs looking out the window were great to sit in. The decor was nice and felt very homey. Now a few cons: The house can get a little warm and stuffy since there is no A/C, but it wasn’t too bad as outside temps were still fairly cool. There was a few items that were in the listing that were no longer available in the home.

This was the perfect place for our family to spread out and be comfortable. Great views and close to town. Kitchen had everything we needed to make a great thanksgiving meal too!

Home away from Home
Family of 6 had a great time staying in Estes and the home was perfect for us. Plenty of space for us to spread out at the end of the day, large eat-in kitchen/dining (everything clearly labeled). Washer and dryer was a plus and so were the extra blankets for those chilly nights. Great views out of the large windows of the town below and walking distance to grocery store/coffee shops/restaurants. Owner stopped by to check in on us and to see if any supplies were needed. No complaints and would definitely come back. Plus was the living space is all on one floor for those with mobility issues.

Beautiful views!
This house is extremely well situated and comfortable. I chose it for the large windows in the living areas and was not disappointed! Every day we enjoyed looking at the mountains and trees sitting in the four comfy glider/recliners in front of huge picture windows. We had elk and mule deer visit the yard! Wonderful mattresses and excellent kitchen.

Amazing place!
Fantastic property, great layout with lots of options to spread out, and awesome views. Very well stocked with what you need, even including basketballs to shoot hoops in the driveway! Great proximity to amenities, while still having lots of peace and serenity with the large lot. Can’t wait to visit again!

Outdoors but close to the city
This was such a great way to enjoy our honeymoon!! Far enough away but close enough to all the shops. The house was so huge with tons of windows to look out of, it was great!!

First time in Estes Park
We loved the house. It was big, comfortable and well maintained. Easy access from house to places in the area. We were visited by elk and mule deer nearly every day with a herd of 27 elk in the yard one day. Having a garage to park the car in was nice and felt more secure. I would definitely recommend this listing.

Very lovely house
We stayed here for Christmas. It was a great house and has a ton of room. It would be nice if the extra pillows had pillowcases and if the remotes for the ceiling fans had working batteries but other than that we had a great time!

Huge Retro House
The retro nature of this house matched the online photos. The mountain views are wonderful. Great location as we could walk to downtown. More space than seven people could possibly use. We had a herd of elk pass through the yard twice. Overall, we found the house very clean.. The only downside is minimal ventilation on the lower level.
