“I can't say enough about how wonderful this place is. It is rustic, peaceful and quiet with a beautiful view. The breakfast is excellent and the hospitality is outstanding. My only word of caution is that there are many steep stairs to get from the road to the property so it wouldnt be appropriate for people living with mobility limitations. Otherwise i highly recommend it. ”

“The property was fine but there were two things that stood outabout our stay. Firstly it was a quiet location with fabulous views. Secondly and most significantly, the couple that ran the hotel where absolutely charming and extremely helpful. They made a meal for us when we arrived which was delicious and the helped arrange a tuk tuk for a morning of touring. We found all the people we dealt with in Sri Lanka were welcoming and nice, but this couple stood out as extra special.”

“The view from our room was absolutely amazing and the bedroom was very comfortable. The bathroom on the other hand not the best, quite dark and the shower had quite a bit of black mould stains and needed a deep clean. Steep walk to get down to Ella and back to the hotel again. Would most likely return for the views from the room”

“This place is magical! Truly a stay in the jungle. There’s no road to the cabin so the last part you have to walk on the railway. However the staff were really helpful and carried our suitcases the whole way - so do recommend to pack lightly. The place was amazing and the staff were so kind and helpful. Highly recommend! ”

“We had an amazing stay here! The hotel is very close to the Little Adam’s Peak and Nine Arches walk. The staff were truly wonderful and went out of their to way to make my friend’s birthday very special, decorating our room and made her a fantastic cake with very little notice!
