Hotel a Fairgrove

“The Montague Inn is an historic property that manages to continue to excel. It's an old house with a gracious stairway to the upper floors. The lack of an elevator will exclude some, but in my case, gracious staff members carried my luggage up and down with no effort on my part. The room and bed were comfortable. One caution: it's an old house and the water heater is downstairs someplace, which means that it takes a couple of minutes for the shower to get hot. The breakfast is typical hotel...

“My husband booked this motel for us for Valentine's Day. It was $180 for one night for the room with the jetted tub. When we pulled up, it looked a little rough, but we only care about the inside anyway. It was advertised as a queen bed, and it was a full bed. We were only staying for 1 night so we honestly didn't feel like taking time out of our plans to go to the office and complain about any of this, so I will say we did not give them a chance to fix it. ”

“The barn door that they had for the bathroom fell off, the cupboard door under the television was torn off, the corner shelf in the shower was torn off and the bathtub backed up”

“The breakfast staff, happy-hour bartender and check-in staff were all super! Helpful and cheerful. The room and bath were very clean. Breakfast was tasty and fresh. Happy hour was a pleasant surprise we were not expecting. River side faces east and west is on the road. The road noise was louder than expected, but everyone disappeared by 8 pm. It was nice to be able to sleep past sunrise, so small trade off. Next time I might try the river side. Super stay would love to come back!”

Il giorno seguente, dopo aver fatto un giro in città, ci ritiriamo la sera tardi dopo cena e ci dicono che a nostro nome non c'era nessuna stanza e che non potevamo entrare neanche per prendere i bagagli.
