Discover a one-of-a-kind, modern, and convenient getaway! This remarkable conversion of a historic garage offers a unique stay. The roll-up door in the living room allows you to embrace the outdoors. On the other end, you'll find an attached garage with EV charging.
Inside, you'll be treated to a King Bed and futon, providing ample sleeping space for your group. The well-equipped kitchen is perfect for meal prep, and the living area is an even better spot to relax and unwind after your day out.

Welcome to an extraordinary retreat that seamlessly blends history, modernity, and convenience into a truly exceptional vacation experience in Flagstaff. Our unique rental is a converted historic garage, thoughtfully transformed into a spacious and stylish living space.

As you step inside, you'll be greeted by a delightful open layout, encompassing the living, dining, and kitchen areas, making it the perfect space for relaxing and socializing. The kitchen is well-appointed, allowing you to prepare delicious meals during your stay.

Located to the right of the main area is the inviting bedroom, where a comfortable King Bed awaits you. Attached to the bedroom is a full bathroom featuring a stand-up tiled shower, providing both comfort and luxury.

In the living room there's also a versatile futon for additional sleeping options, making it suitable for couples, families, or small groups. The thoughtful design of this vacation rental ensures your utmost comfort and convenience.

One of the standout features of this property is the roll-up door in the living area, which can be opened to invite the outdoors in, enhancing the overall sense of space and freedom. This unique design element allows you to enjoy the beautiful Flagstaff weather for a good part of the year.

Off the back side of the living area, you'll find the attached garage, which is available for guest use. Inside, you'll discover an RV-style outlet for electric vehicle (EV) charging. Please note that guests must bring their own charging cords. This EV-friendly feature underscores our commitment to sustainability.

But what truly sets our vacation rental apart is its history and connection to the outdoors. This space was once the research and development garage and workshop of Joe Murray, a former national mountain bike champion. Outdoor enthusiasts, especially mountain bikers and skiers, will find this space particularly appealing. The garage, which was once Joe's workshop, now offers a unique and secure place to store and maintain your outdoor gear.

Step outside and you'll find a private yard complete with a barbecue grill, creating the perfect atmosphere for alfresco dining and relaxation. In addition to the private yard, there's also a larger shared yard where you can mingle with other guests or simply enjoy the open space.

Our rental property is part of a charming compound that includes two other units, sharing a common front yard and fire pit area. This setup offers a wonderful opportunity to connect with fellow travelers or enjoy a cozy evening by the fire.

Location-wise, you'll be delighted to know that we're just a few blocks away from Flagstaff's historic business district and iconic Route 66. Explore the city's rich history, indulge in local cuisine, or embark on outdoor adventures—all within easy reach of our unique vacation rental.

At our Flagstaff getaway, we've thought of every detail to ensure your stay is not just memorable but truly exceptional. Experience the perfect blend of history, modern comfort, and a prime location during your visit to Flagstaff.

We are available via email and phone or if you need something in person, we can be there very quickly.

Just a few blocks from Downtown Flagstaff. This unit, though private, is on the same property as two of our other Airbnbs. Parking and entrance is in the alleyway.

Parking is south of Aspen Ave, in the alleyway, between Mogollon and Aztec.

This rental unit is in a compound with 2 other rentals. You have a private patio as well as some shared yard space.
Parking for this space is off the Alleyway. Upon booking, expect a message with a link to our rental agreement.

Our cancellation policy states that a 100% refund will be given up to 30 days before arrival, and 50% refund up to 14 days before arrival. Please note that 4% of any cancellation will be withheld to cover credit card processing fees.
Pet Policy: Guest may bring up to 2 dogs. To ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience for everyone, please take note of our pet policy guidelines:

Supervision and Behavior: Please refrain from leaving your dog unattended inside the home, especially if they tend to be loud or have a tendency to be destructive. We want to maintain a peaceful environment for all guests.

Backyard Enjoyment: Your pet is more than welcome to enjoy the backyard space. Feel free to let them run and play. However, we kindly ask that you clean up after them promptly to keep the area clean and pleasant for all.

Clean-Up Supplies: For your convenience, we've provided bags and a scooper to assist you in cleaning up any messes your pet may make. Proper disposal of waste is important to us, so please use these supplies when needed.
Leash Requirement: When your dog is outside of the house or yard area, they must be leashed at all times. This is to ensure their safety and the safety of other guests and neighbors.

Really cute, comfortable, and convenient.
I only stayed here one night, but I had a great experience. It was easy to check in/out and the location is really convenient. The space was well designed for comfort and aesthetics. I appreciated the metal details throughout. I thought the cement floors would be cold since it's winter, but even standing on it with bare feet, the floors were comfortably warm. Having an attached garage was really nice and helped me feel secure since I was moving to another state and my car was full of stuff. Would stay here again for sure!

Hiking in the mountains
The garage apartment was exactly as described. Easy walk to downtown for dinner and shopping without having to pay for parking each trip. Nice, quiet neighborhood. Even got to open the garage door a few days and enjoy the Fall weather. Had a problem with the hot water heater but the owners were very responsive in answering our calls and getting the problem fixed ASAP. We will rent this apartment again if returning to Flagstaff.

perfect spot for the two of us and our 14 year old pug. the neighborhood is great to walk around in and very quiet. would love to come back and enjoy the open air living room in better weather but we were very cozy and totally enjoyed an excellent early morning thunderstorm instead :3)

Great location
Great location with an easy walk to downtown Flag and NAU campus. Very comfortable renovated garage workshop. Able to roll up the door in the living area to enjoy the wonderful Flagstaff weather. The enclosed backyard was shared with the two other cottages on property, so we did have to keep our dogs on leads.

Fantastic Stay!
Have no doubts about staying here, a very clean, warm and cozy place with all the amenities. The weather was a bit too cold to raise the garage door, but I can imagine how fun it would be during the summer months to do so. Thank you for creating such a fun space!!
