“The service was excellent! From check in to the restaurant. The staff was especially friendly. The facilities itself were a bit outdated, but since its bought out by a big hotel chain I suspect that it will undergo major rennovations. Great bones of a hotel, the atrium has a nice earthy feel. The pool area was a bit dark, not a ton of lighting at night, almost kinda creepy. But I loved the indoor trees and plants surrounding the indoor pool area. Really big hotel, not a lot of vacancies. “A funky hotel with lovely touches from when it was first built. Often the showers are fine, but this time the bathtub was very narrow and there wasn't much pressure. I did love the view from the higher floor thought, so worth the trade off.”

“buona la posizione, vicina alla fermata bart, safeway, autostrada. parcheggio sotto l’hotel gratuito. ci sono alcune cose che andrebbero migliorate, quali la colazione troppo esigua, le finiture quali gli infissi e la porta del bagno. per il resto abbastanza nuovi i mobili ed il letto, pulita la camera, buono il set di asciugamani, i saponi, la tv. personale cortese e sorridente.”

“Good location a block from the Embarcadero and the Ferry building. Nicely updated bathroom, comfortable bed and nice linens, towels. Very old building and the floor of room is very sloped!! Maybe not all that way? I checked in late evening and didn’t want to ask to switch! The floor above creaked when the hotel guest walked around their room!”

“Luma is in a clean and safe location. I felt safe walking at night around the area. Perfect location! 20 minutes from the airport, walking distance to sport venues, great food near by. "Ottima posizione vicino al Pier 39 (punto turistico con ristoranti e negozi per la sera), a distanza di 5 minuti a piedi c'è un bel tram cable car che porta a Union Square attraverso bel giro di circa 15 minuti. Nelle vicinanze dovrebbe esserci anche Lombrad Street."
