“The cottage was perfect for our needs and made exploring Inverness a breeze as it was an easy 10-15 min walk into the city along the river. The stroll down to Ness Islands was a delight and we enjoyed the hospitality at the Waterfront gastropub which was a couple of minutes from the cottage. “The house is located in a great location, just above the Market Brae steps, making it central to most places in the city center. The house is old, but very well kept. Two of the bedrooms are located on the second floor and a third, with its own bathroom, on the third. Stairs are a bit of a struggle, if you're not used to them, but not a huge issue. “Clava Cottage was cozy and homey, or homely as they say in the UK. Gregor was an excellent host, communicative and responsive. The house had everything we needed and was comfortable. The wood burning stove in the living room was especially nice given the unseasonably cool weather during our stay. The location was walkable to city centre and an Aldi, a Tesco, and a Lidl. The cottage was an excellent home base for our highland adventures. We had a lovely stay.”

“The property is a conveniently located, very clean, tastefully decorated, comfortable and spacious apartment. It also has a fantastic outlook north to the mountains and over the river and the south side of the city and the hills beyond. Getting in was easy and so was using the carpark. Highly recommended!”

“Als wir angekommen sind, war das Haus stark verschmutzt und heruntergekommen. Die Toilette zeigte noch die Hinterlassenschaften des Vormieters. Überall im Haus war Schimmel, da offensichtlich nach der letzten Vermietung nie wieder jemand einen Fuß in das Haus gesetzt hat, um zu putzen. Auch die Betten waren nicht neu bezogen worden. Das Haus muss dringend saniert und richtig geputzt werden. Nie wieder würde ich es buchen.”

“This was the perfect location for our visit to Inverness as it is in a quiet and lovely neighborhood that is a walkable distance to everything. The apartment was spotless and well appointed. The washer was wonderful :-). I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting Inverness. And, I would also recommend visiting Inverness. Centrally located to distilleries and you can get excellent tours from the town center ”

“We had the perfect family Highland holiday in Mor Carraig with our young son (1yo) and his grandparents (70s). The property is as described and the photos do not do the viewing justice. The owner was quick to respond to queries we had during the holiday. We are already trying to plan when we can return for another holiday there!”

Tutto fumo e niente arrosto
"Assolutamente da evitare il prezzo pagato ( il doppio) per una notte in altri hotel, non vale ne per la stanza né per il cibo. Stanza piccola televisore minuscolo, il bagno sembra un bagno d'ospedale 😳doccia minuscola e ( probabilmente era la mia stanza) ma le luci nel bagno non funzionavano. Avevo preso la Mezza pensione e non l'avessi mai fatto, ho pagato 230 euro una notte per avere uova e pancetta che danno in qualsiasi b&,b.. per non parlare della cena... Porzioni misere ho chiesto del pane e mi è stato risposto che non lo potevo avere o comunque per averlo avrei dovuto pagarlo a parte 😲 ho fatto il tour della scozia quindi ho soggiornato in 10 hotel - B&B diversi e questo che mi è costato il doppio degli altri ed è il peggiore. "
