“Really nice hotel with restaurant. We had a family room that consists of two rooms with the bathroom in the middle. Staff really very friendly and helpful. Free parking”

“The food at the bar was excellent and the staff were great. My single room had a fire escape view with a bright security light near the window. The plumbing was really noisy til midnight on my first night but fine the next. Room facilities were good. ”

“The staff were great and room 22 was perfect with a large bed and plenty of space. We ate at the hotel on our second night and the food was tasty and sufficient. However one meal came out cold and had to be reheated. Our waitress did give us a discount for this. On our last morning there was no water, but not the hotel’s fault as a main had burst. Overall a very nice experience.”

“Lovely stay at The Black Boy. Nice comfortable room with a great shower. Fantastic evening meal and breakfast with attentive friendly staff. Convient for the bus to Llanberis/peny Pass Reccommend highly and would stay again.”

“We loved the hotel and the staff were brilliant. It is on top of The Bull Pub! The pub was lovely, such a great atmosphere. The room itself was clean and a great set up for what we needed with our little boy. The second floor walking up to our room smelt a bit musty but overall the hotel was lovely. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic. So much choice! Highly impressed by the hotel and service for the price! Will definitely be back ”

“A great couple of nights stay in Harlech exploring the area. Pattra was a fantastic host and the room was warn, clean and quiet. ”

“Comfortable room with en-suite toilet & shower. Pleasant staff, bar prices very reasonable. Good atmosphere in pub areas. Food not bad, (cheese sauce on nachos not good) Would recommend as a good base for surrounding attractions.”

“Our stay was fabulous. The food is 12/10 We had our dog with us so we had to eat in the bar but it has a roaring fire and a lovely atmosphere and I’d argue this was the best seat in the house. Our room was in a little outbuilding and it was just perfect. Super quiet of a night too. The servers are all very young and the best and most smiley service I’ve had in a long time ”

“Arrived later than intended but was welcomed and shown around the cottage by the very pleasant host. Superb open plan living and dining areas with lots of room. Bedrooms well appointed and very cosy and comfortable. Nice outdoor area with plenty of room to explore. Already planning my next visit. Nothing was too much trouble for the superb hosts. ”
