“It was a lovely stay, in a tiny town, the bell inn does lovely food with a great atmosphere! The room I had was lovely and cozy with the world’s biggest bath. Bindy the owner was lovely, she made me two lovely breakfasts and I got to meet her very cute furry friends! I would 100% stay again it was nice to go running and have a bit of a social media detox as the signal wasn’t the best but it was very much appreciated! “The room was adequate for our overnight stay. The shower was really good and all the basic usual were there. The welcome from Nadine was excellent as well as the rest of the staff. We really enjoyed the breakfast, thank you Chef. Overall the Linden Tree is a good, basic stopover, especially if staying overnight after watching the Cherry and Whites.”

“Staff friendly and helpful. Our bedroom needed a USB socket and decor was clean but tired. The windows in our room had not been cleaned for a good time, whilst at the hotel entrance they were clean. Two seats in reception doorway were damaged giving a poor first impression. I feel that the £5 per night car park charge should be refunded for resident guests. Overall decor needs an update as it appears to show little or no recent investment in this hotel. Restaurant food was good and staff very...
