“Lovely serene location near the canal and river (might get busy when the weather is good)..Lovely traditional spacious and comfortable rooms, in good clean condition. Communication before arrival excellent. We weren't able to use the spa bath as the plumbing currently needs re-doing to prevent leaks and there is no shelf to put the toiletries in the bathroom. Breakfast isn't available at the restaurant currently but there is Toby Carvery or the cafe at Over Farm next door. Location is...

“La struttura é vetusta, anche se in un contesto bucolico. Il tavolo per la colazione va fissato in anticipo e comunque alle 10 viene tolto il buffet. Non c'è ascensore. C'è un forte odore di muffa nella hall. Per il resto ok”

“Ottima soluzione, molto economica, a gloucester, con parcheggio compreso e possibilità di fare una buona colazione inglese. Proprietario molto gentile, ci siamo trovati benissimo. Letti super comodi. Ottima base di partenza per girare le cotswolds. Consigliato ”

“Albergo interessante per la posizione e la facilità di parcheggio. Manca l'ascensore ma essendo la nostra camera al piano primo non era un grosso problema. Decente la pulizia. Comodo il ristorante di fronte alla struttura anche se la sua pulizia era migliorabile.”

“Almost everything about this stay was excellent. I would say that some of the interior is in need of maintenance (sagging floors) and one bathroom was tight spacing. The parking was not available but we were able to get parking nearby.”

“The room was adequate for our overnight stay. The shower was really good and all the basic usual were there. The welcome from Nadine was excellent as well as the rest of the staff. We really enjoyed the breakfast, thank you Chef. Overall the Linden Tree is a good, basic stopover, especially if staying overnight after watching the Cherry and Whites.”

“Perhaps I made the wrong choice but I did not enjoy my night and left before my (paid for) second night. There was one light in the room, a table lamp that was damaged and could not be altered. There were supposed to be towels in the showers but they were face flannel sized. I am really not sure what the people running the facilities were trying to achieve, but it was uncomfortable and unpleasant. Never again.”
