“Great location and accommodation. Would have been good to have enough bin bags and dishwashing tablets for length of stay but apart from that would recommend this to anyone. Communication from host was prompt. Would definitely stay there again. ”

“We loved staying in this house. It was perfect for our family of 6 and my parents. Great amenities and so much space. Were certainly quite a few broken things when we arrive such as the back screen door, the hot tub was empty with stagnant water in it, cuts in the felt of the pool table and broken screens in the deck area. But these were not things that affected our stay so we weren’t concerned. With some TLC this house could be amazing, but we still had a great time anyway. The cows in the...

“This property was everything I hoped from a Gold Coast holiday home. The property was immaculate spacious and lovely to be in. Location couldn’t have been better. Quiet street but still close to everything, Highly recommend this property ”

“We love the caretaker cottage. It has everything you want. A step up into ensuite can be an issue. Also a lip in the bedroom doorway can be tricky if one is not paying attention. ”

“The house and facilities were excellent. Large pool and central air-conditioning kept everyone cool in the Xmas heat. The master bedroom is huge with ensuite and walk- through wardrobe. The location is close to golf courses, Broadbeach, restaurants and shops but doesn’t have the hustle and bustle of the crowded coastal fringe. ”

“We love staying here - this is our third time back! The property is always beautifully presented with thoughtful inclusions (like milk and festive biccies to go with your tea). Check-in is a breeze and Karen and Patrick are always readily available. The house is conveniently positioned and our fur kids have always been welcomed. Highly recommend!”

“We had a brilliant time together 6 adults and 4 kids. The house is hot when arrived with no aircon (was worried with reading reviews) but it’s designed as a smart home and once you open the windows and doors up the breeze automatically flows through and it drops to a great temp. It was 32C and we were fine! It’s designed to be open and doesn’t get sun inside. Really big, and spacious living areas. Kitchen is fully equipped and bedrooms have a great space around for luggage and storing things....

“We were very satisfied with our weekend island stay at Darrens place. Everything was clean and there was lots to do. Loads of space for everyone and everything was so thought out. A short boat trip away was Tipplers which made for a great breakfast on our way home via our boat! Would definitely recommend”

“Impressive location and view. Loved the house and convenient location. A private jetty for our boat was exactly what we were looking for. The massage chair so very much in demand and topped our well needed R&R! Most of all Anne the manger was very accommodating and I’m so grateful for her helpfulness!”
