“Like this hotel very much!Recommend it!”

“The room was musty smelling and everything felt damp. The carpeting was so filthy it was almost sticky feeling on your bare feet. Bathroom was clean but did not fill the toilet paper up. Left nearly empty rolls and no extras. It advertises a pool but there is no pool. The ice from the ice machine tasted terrible. Most of the front desk staff we encounter did not hardly speak or understand English. I do not recommend this place and we will not be staying there again. I would sleep in my car...

“The property was historic. Loved the charm. The bed was very nice and we slept well. Small town Indiana at its best. Sauerkraut balls at the Bier Garden were great and we enjoyed the live music. Thanks for a great weekend with no kids.”

“I feel this room was overpriced for what the condition of the room was.,Just an o.k place to stay. Rooms was dated with with chipped furniture , scruffed table, door and trim edges, etc. The swivel chair in the room was wobbly and hard to sit on. Room smelled musty and took awhile for the air conditioner to get the room to a comfortable level. If you want just a place to sleep and can get past the issues, it's an o.k place to stay.”

“They allowed my motorcycle to remain under the entryway roof. Much appreciated. Small breakfast selection but good quality. I chose this hotel while on the road dodging weather. Rested well.”

“The rooms were clean, the breakfast fine, the staff great. But the elevator was a little scary. You push the button and it may not move or you arrive at the wrong floor. I am claustraphobic and this bothered me. It had been inspected in April.”

“The property was ok for a older hotel but the staff and Expedia were horrible. Expedia payment to property was declined and Mark the front desk clerk was terrible! I stay in hotels all the time and have for 30 years. This is the worse interaction I have ever had. They threatened to kick us out of the room and also shut our keys off with our belongings in the room. I had explained we would help them but we were in for a event that day and they called not less than 5 times during the day and...

“Clean. Nice staff. Easy in/out process. Breakfast nice. Coffee good. Suggest dehumidifier to dry out carpet after shampooing”

“Liked nothing . Pillows were very small a kids pillow. Went to check out guy behind desk was asleep had to wake him. He would not print me a receipt . will not be back”

“This hotel doesn’t look like much from the outside, but was extremely clean and inviting on the inside. The staff were helpful and the property is centrally located to a lot of restaurants and stores. My son and I stayed here for two nights for a travel baseball tournament and would stay here again in a heartbeat.”
