The bed was comfortable, the shower had great hot water after long days of hiking, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. “The price and location worked perfectly for us. It was wonderful to come back to some peace and quiet at the end of the day after being around So. Many. People. All day long. We had a private balcony overlooking a large lot where the kids played. It felt secluded even though it’s on a main road, walking distance to a bakery and coffee shop. “There was an envelope in our room, apparently for us to tip the cleaning staff. In the 3 days we were there, we never saw any cleaning staff. Our bed was never made. The one, very small waste basket was never emptied. In short, there was no cleaning staff. So we left no tip.”

“Unfortunately, I had a very negative experience at this hotel. In the middle of the night, while we were asleep, someone unlocked and attempted to open our room door. Fortunately, the security latch stopped the door from opening completely, although the force partially ripped the door trim from the wall. The room had only the standard door lock and the security latch. After this incident, I had to wedge a chair under the door handle to keep the door secure for the rest of the night. Needless...
