“We loved the hotel, very regal looking! Staff werw friendly. Clean and spacious. If i had to guve a negative it would be only one lift which was extremely slow and on a personal note, the bed was extremely hard. We both woke up with sore hips! Again that doesnt mean everyone will find the bed too hard. The bedding and bedroom were beautiful and clean. All in all would definitely recommend and would come again. ”

“Great place to stay with excellent food in the fat badger pub and restaurant. We had the sandwich and chips option but will have to go back for the Sunday lunch - it looked great and was obviously popular with regulars. “This was a Wonderful place to stay. Just 6 miles from Harrogate and the conference centre. The bedroom with shower and toilet TV and WiFi fine. Downstairs a fully equipped kitchen, dining table and lounge area so I could have cooked anything I had brought. Really good value. ”

“If you are looking for a boutique hotel with a good "value for money", here you are. In the city centre, wide rooms, very clean, lovely furniture, warm welcome, nice breakfast. The cherry on the cake is the restaurant downstairs: lovely food and very nice wines. I will stay here again”

"Had to cancel our trip due to a medical emergency and flight cancellation. Contacted all hotels we had booked—five refunded us without issue. Even Ryanair did. Cairn Hotel was the only one that flat-out refused, no empathy, no flexibility, not even a partial credit. I explained everything, even pleaded—but they just hid behind their “policy.” I could’ve paid more for the flexible rate, but budget was tight. Shame, because we were really looking forward to staying. Very disappointing experience."
