“Arrived for a 1-night stay and stayed in Room 4 for 3 adults. We parked directly out front where there is off road parking for 2 cars (please note that the curb is not lowered to access this). Location was quite quiet overnight which I was surprised about! Owners were very friendly and offered advice and leaflets on places to visit! The interior of the room itself was very modern, however my friend noted that the carpets did not look clean and there was a lot of cobwebs. Only downside for me was...

“It was a pleasant stay after visiting Alnwick Gardens. The room was about average size but walk up on third floor. The room was clean and as usual air conditioning was provided by opening the window. Parking is available but not for the faint of heart if you are not used to driving in the UK. Would consider staying there again if we are ever in the area.”

“The dining room decor was amazing taken from the ship Olympic. Linen tablecloths changed after every meal. The staff were friendly and super efficient and the food was excellent. The bedroom decor was tired and room servicing was below par, water glasses not cleaned. The bar staff were not always available and when we went for a nightcap after the theatre the bar was shut at just 10pm”

“A beautiful hotel with exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Our room (the Bamburgh) was large, bright and very comfortable. There’s a great choice for breakfast and for dinner (with my gluten intolerance catered for brilliantly). The hotel is literally opposite the castle with stunning walks on the doorstep. ”

“I loved this opportunity to stay in Ingram, at the East entrance to the Northumberland National Park. This B&B is luxurious, quiet and lovely, with great food and atmosphere. There is easy access to beautiful walks in and above the Breamish Valley. I would definitely stay here again.”

“We stayed here for two nights to attend a nearby wedding. The accommodation was lovely. Large spacious room, very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was amazing. Carolyn was very welcoming and went out of her way to ensure we had a lovely stay. Would definitely recommend.”

“We stayed for 1 night en-route from Yorkshire to the Scottish Highlands, and we were absolutely gutted..... because we wished we had booked for longer! We had room 101 and it was simply beautiful. I actually cant fault a thing. We will definitely be back.... but for longer next time :)”

“The welcome was was warm and the room large and clean. We had dinner in the restaurant the first night and it was delicious with impeccable service. We had breakfast on two mornings, again food was very good. Two small criticisms from our stay was that the bed/mattress was very firm but this is about personal taste so may be fine for others! We spoke to reception and while they couldn’t offer a different room they did provide a mattress topper which resolved the issue and we were happy with...

“We attended a wedding and stayed in the cottage for just one night, was close to the venue clean and tidy slept six. We weren’t in it really just to sleep. The following morning had breakfast at the joiners arms which was beautiful l.”
