“Lovely, cosy pub hotel. Great food with a choice of menus, ranging from the tasting menu to simple (but very well done) pub fayre. We chose from the pub menu, special mention to the fish and chips, perfect! Accompanied by a good choice of drinks, with beer from the local Thornbridge brewery. Very handy spot for local attractions. We stayed for one night on a mini-break and the room was perfect. Lovely bedroom decoration, nicely fitted out bathroom with a decent sized bath and rainfall...

“A very enjoyable one night stay. We had booked a junior suite but asked to swap rooms to a different type, with a golf view. The receptionist was happy to oblige and all was sorted swiftly. We were so pleased with our decision as the view down the eighteenth hole and across the surrounding countryside was fabulous. “We had a really good stay at this hotel, the breakfast was one of the best we've had, the best selection and very tasty. The evening meal was also beautiful, can't fault any of the food. Family room was large and huge bed, but disappointed in the lack of air conditioning and the shower quality. It was a bit disappointing hearing one of the waitresses at the breakfast entrance talk to the younger staff in a very rude manner.
