“My daughter and I stayed here for the night on our way to Myrtle Beach and I am so glad we did. It was half the price of the other hotels in the area and it was perfect for our overnight day. The front desk staff was so friendly they even called as we were arriving late to check on us and see what time we would be arriving. The room was spotless and clean. The bed was comfortable. I normally would not have stayed at a motel six and passed it up, but I am so glad that we stayed here.”

“This is a new hotel, and not what you'd expect from a Comfort Inn. The rooms were nice, clean, new. The beds were comfy and new. Bathroom was very clean. Breakfast was typical hotel-type breakfast, nothing extra.”

“This is a gem of an inn. The sound of the water pouring over the dam and the birds chirping will lull you to sleep each night. The room as basic and comfortable, there’s onsite laundry and a great kitchen. I highly recommend the Washington Inn as a great starting point for exploring the natural beauty of Grayson County! ”

“I have a thing about clean floors. Most hotels I’ve stayed in have dirty floors and my feet are black. No exception here. I wish when the room is cleaned that the floor is mopped as well. Otherwise the place is pretty clean.”
