“I reserved a room with two queen beds. My reservation was confirmed as such. When I checked in the said it was a king and a sofa bed. They said the air force was in town and took all of them. I advised I had reservations well ahead of them. It didn’t matter.”

“Overall my stay was poor, the carpet in the room was dirty, the cleaning personnel came into my room once in a week, bed was never done Soap and shampoo is small inconvenient pieces”

“My go-to hotel for traveling out of Detroit. Nothing fancy, but a clean room and always a comfortable stay. Convenient to the airport and off-site parking. Good value for the price.”

“I loved everything about this hotel. Amazing staff, clean rooms, and parking was great but I wish it was includes with our stay. I will definitely be staying here when I come back to Detroit oh and I really loved the pool and hot tub.”

“Nice staff, clean rooms and great location to the airport. Our room was not ready at check-in which was a king size room, but they did accommodate us with a double bed room which worked out much better. Would definitely recommend for future trips.”

“The place is not well maintained. But the bigger problem was that because there were many flight delays and cancellations, the place was overbooked by maybe 100 rooms. Long line to check in. Desk clerk promptly announced to the 50 or so people in line that there were no more rooms available. Because we had prepaid for the room however, they held one for us. Restaurant was maybe a 2 on a scale of 1-5.”

“Hampton is was a good place to stay. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The sister hotels offer additional amenities and there is a shuttle bus that will take you there as well as to and from the airport”

“Neglected and noisy hotel. The curtains were stained with blood. There is no air conditioning which came from the ceiling but cold or hot air which was produced by a fan coil on the ground under the window which if you have to operate it is extremely noisy and raises the dirty curtains. At 4 am the bathroom started making an intense noise, with a frightening vibration and at very high decibels. The lady at the reception refused to come and check the terrible noise. “The hotel is really good, with clean rooms and comfortable bathrooms. It has a very well structured gym with a great pool near it. Surely a great hotel where to stay and relax!”

“Upon arrival looking at the outside of the building, I was a little skeptical, because the outside of the building could use a little cosmetic lift. But once we got inside the building you can tell that this location has been remodeled and the rooms were nice and clean, the breakfast was very good, and the free drinks at the manager’s reception were on point! We will definitely visit this location again if we’re ever in Detroit again.”

“I will say the Staff was helpful when needed. However the building had an awful smell to it, sheets were dirty, toilets barley flushed, garbage left overs from old guest, wall plugs barley hanging on. However I needed a place to sleep and for the price, I got what I paid for I guess. Breakfast was minimal, they didn't have plates avaible so the guest had to use bowls, no syrup for the waffles.”
