Enjoy the sounds of the East Branch River from this sunny, dog-friendly retreat! Yes, you can bring your dog with you for a nightly fee. The main level of this charming abode features a bright living room with a gas stove and a flatscreen TV with cable, the perfect spot to unwind to your heart's content after a day of skiing or hiking. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the essentials to whip up everything from quick snacks on the go, fulfilling breakfasts, or savory full-course meals. If you'd like to step mealtime up a notch, the gas grill will be the answer. Sliders from the kitchen lead out to a spacious deck from which you can hear the East Branch river just across the street.

What's nearby:
With this location, you'll be less than three miles from the quaint Story Land, two and a half miles from the White Mountain National Forest, and across the street from a swimming area on the river. Winter visitors can take their pick between skiing at Attitash (less than six miles away) or Cranmore (five and a half miles away).

You get whay you pay for
If you're looking for a cabin just outside of town but close to the ski resorts, this is a perfect spot. It's kind of dark and stinky, but it's a cabin in the woods. Very little cell service, but awesome high speed internet. New appliances in the kitchen, and they get brownie points for a clean coffee machine. The plow guy showed up promptly in the morning after a big snowstorm. If you're looking for a luxury ski condo, this is not it. If you're looking for a reasonably priced cabin near town with heat and running water, moderately comfortable beds, dim lighting and dishwasher tablets but no dishwasher.. this is the place. I'd go back!

Not inpressed at all. The company gave me the code to the lock that didnt work at all. No service in the area so had to drive to town to call finally got the correct number. The place is dirty cobwebs that have been there a few years in the corners on the floor and ceiling.thw pictures had dust on them very thick

But not for the river.
Trash barrel was full from a previous guest. Bear enjoyed throughly. Bad timing. You get what you pay for. Beats any hotel or motel though. Instructions for TV would be nice instead of notes everwhere about not leaving the lights on outside.

Excellent vacation spot
The location and cottage itself were great. The bathroom could use a little work and was a bit tight but overall, the place was great and we loved our stay here. The fact they allow dogs was an added bonus and we would stay here again for sure.

Quiet getaway
overall the cottage was in nice condition except the shower could use an update. The pictures of the yard I felt were deceiving maybe outdated because there is no yard to speak of yard and it is poorly maintained. The lake or water hole that is mentioned its too dangerous for most to try to get to because there are so many rocks near there

Great cottage
Perfect location! Loved the river across the street. Quaint cottage with everything needed for comfortable stay. Shower could use updating. WiFi not turned on until after 5 pm and turned off around 9:30 am before checkout. This made text check out difficult as there was no phone service while there.

Amazing location
Close to everything North Conway has to offer without feeling that way! The River across the street was amazing and my husband was able to fish :) very cute little cottage!! These things didn’t really bother us as were easy going people, but the check in access code did not work so we had to call the property manager, he answered and was pleasant and gave us a code that worked :). The indoor fireplace didn’t seem to work and the roof above was leaking a bit, not a huge deal but would have been nice to use! Was a great weekend!!!
