“Quiet and private”

“The grounds are pretty and the view from the tide pool and "beach" is beautiful. Unit is like being at ABNB. Condiments in frig, foil, plastic wrap, etc in cabinets. We had a great 3 day stay and would stay again. Only issue was mold in the shower, which I wiped off with a clorox wipe and the air conditioner must be timed because it would default back to 78 after 12 hrs. It also shut off and fan ran but it was 80 degrees over night until I turned it off and back on again. Then it started cooling...

“1. The location is literally on the shoreline with continuous surf and great sunsets. No road/car noise with golf fairway on 1 side and the shoreline on the other side of building. 2. Very tastefully remodeled and furnished. Great beds. 3. On-shore breeze and multiple ceiling fans kept the apartment comfortable. 4. Well equipped with dishes, pans and small appliances. 5. The only deficiency was the lanai ceiling fan did not work. Knutson said they would address after our departure. ”

“We enjoyed our stay in Hilo. The view is amazing and being able to just walk to the beach/lagoon and see turtles was so fun. I liked the location just a bit out of town, but easy to drive everywhere. Even though Maunaloa Shores is on a main road, our unit was quiet. The patio and bedroom windows are on the ocean side. Would stay here again. ”

“Place was not cleaned before we arrived due to a miscommunication between the property owner and his cleaning person. Was taken care of but it took a decent amount of trying to get a hold of anyone to get the issue resolved. Room itself was good and everything worked, except for the TV. Overall, it's a good spot as long as you don't really plan on doing much at the place you are staying besides eating breakfast and sleeping. Great location to walk to a ton of restaurants in Kona.”

“My family and I loved staying at this condo. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking diverse meals, the beach supplies got much use, and the location right on the ocean was excellent. Convenient and ample parking in a garage below the condos was a nice surprise as well!”

“Great quiet condo with wonderful amenities and excellent location. Condo was very clean and well-stocked for our needs. All instructions were very clear and helpful. Two nice pools (one saltwater on the ocean) and a great beach to chill on under the palm trees. Great outdoor lanai dining area and built in couch. Would stay again as a couple as there is only one bedroom*. Amazing property!”
