“Birthday gift for my husband. A weekend getaway. Loved staying right on the beach. The cottage was nice and cozy for just the 2 of us. We watched the sunrise. Loved eating breakfast at the local breakfast spot. Loved the area where everyone was so nice. I am from Virginia Beach so we are just a hop skip jump away. We are looking forward for our return.The host was great and always in communication. Highly recommend. It was a wonderful stay. ”

“House was cleanly, lovely quiet neighborhood. Vrbo provided a number for any assistance we might have needed. They were very responsive and helpful. The house is as pictured it was beautiful and well maintained. There were stains on the carpet but that is to be expected when allowing pets😊 overall a great experience for my four children, our dog, my husband and myself. ”

“This was our 5th year staying at OBX for Thanksgiving week and we just signed up for our 6th. Love the place! Each year brings surprises of upgrades that keep the property current and nice. The walk to the beach takes 2 minutes and the town of Duck is just down the street. Couldn't be better.”

“This was an excellent find for a relaxed, one week getaway to the OBX for me and my medium-sized dog. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood very close to the sound so we had wonderful sunset walks along a multi-use path. It was very convenient to go to Jockey's Ridge State Park, Nags Head Woods, or the Wright Brothers Memorial for a few hours of adventure with the dog and then come back for a little downtime at the beach.
