“We only had one night in The George before returning home but it was brilliant. We had a junior suite and it was perfect. Loads of space, super comfortable bed and super bathroom. We ate in the bar as there was staffing issues and no availability in the Bistro, however the food was good and we enjoyed the atmosphere. Location was good but with limited time to explore, we will head back to this hotel on return to Christchurch. The staff we great - friendly and did everything they could to help. ”
