“This place was as advertised, it did the job for one night. Was clean and check in was easy. Because it’s on marine parade it’s really really noisy throughout the night and the bedrooms are right beside the road. The property could use some touches to make it more comfortable, it’s very bare bones and the bedding is not very comfy but if you just need a place to stay for the night it’s all good. I don’t think I’d personally stay here again but there’s nothing wrong with the place! ”

“The standard of accommodation was excellent as was the communication with the host. Location within a reasonable distance from the airport is a plus.....but a challenging location for shopping for supplies without access to a motor vehicle as is a long steep driveway to access the property. We were surprised that there was no free to air television coverage which was not disclosed at time of booking. Overall, we would book again for our needs, but issues highlighted will surprise and disappoint...

“We had a beautiful stay here in Paihia. Great location, beautiful home and super relaxing. Perfect base for day trips to Russell and up to Matauri Bay. Convenient to get into town but the house and views were so comfortable after days out that we were happy to relax and regroup. Only slight negative comment is that we found the upper bunk bed not suitable for an adult (even though my son is slight build) which we had assumed it might be so kids doubled up. Otherwise perfect stay. ”
