“I honestly cannot rate my stay at Papageno Resort in Kadavu highly enough. As a backpacker on a budget, staying here was a very special treat for me, and it exceeded every expectation.
Every single member of the staff, without exception, was incredibly friendly, caring, and genuinely focused on making sure I had the best possible experience. Their warmth and kindness made such a difference, and I truly felt welcomed throughout my stay.

Right in front of our unit it was unbearable and we asked to be moved and were told they'd look into it nothing happened!! We had no hot water for 2 days...no decent deck furniture and uncomfortable stool and a hammock chair you had to be a contortionist to get in and...
“This is not a swanky resort. Seems to be used mostly by divers for a night or two. The food was not good, basic western menus done badly - greasy breakfast, pasta with jarred sauce, pizza that was missing toppings. We went off site and found the burger place next door to it Beach Bum Burgers, was seriously good quality gourmet burgers, homemade and served by the owners, and there's little 'Raj's restaurant' 5 mins up the main road, that did the nicest chicken curry (ask for boneless), it was...

“Nel complesso questo hotel puo’ essere valutato positivamente, situato fronte mare, bisogna attraversare un piccolo strada poco trafficata. La struttura è moderna, ben tenuta, stanze ampie dotate di tutto il necessario. Vi è una piscina ed un ottimo ristorante, come hotel di passaggio o come punto di riferimento per le escursioni va’ benissimo.”
