“Staff was excellent and accomodating on a very cold and snowy evening upon arrival. Room access with elevator literally just a few feet away from reception was great as my husband is dealing with a leg injury. Room was clean and well kept, only change I would have loved, the lighting for the desk table was not up to par. I needed to work , thankfully I usually travel with a small extra lamp.”

“Overall, had a very pleasant experience at this hotel, but the age of the building combined with the poor weather conditions were causing more and more issues. One of the elevators felt unsafe and very poorly maintained. This also happened to be on the side of the building with the severe roof leak. The side door which lead to the "scary" elevator also appeared to lock properly, leaving it operable even at night.”

“There was a charge for parking in a garage that was not disclosed when booking the room .One would think parking would come with the room. Also, I was charged $15 for a hair dryer that I can neither confirm or deny that we had one in the room. My wife and I don't use them. I called to discuss and the supervisor never returned my call to the best of my knowledge. ”

“ The property was exceptionally quiet and clean Only negative was condition and that couldn’t be helped as it is due to the age uof the building. Will stay here again if in the area. A 5 star!”

“This is a perfect place to stop in Somerset right off the turnpike. I've stayed several times, and it is always very clean, feels safe and with friendly and helpful staff. Rates are always reasonable. There's a handful of restaurants and fast food options within just a minute or two drive.”

“The hotel is conveniently located close to Frank Lloyd Wright Fallingwater and Kentuck Knob houses. The hotel is very clean, not shabby, and offers a basic but good complimentary breakfast and a small pool. The staff is very kind and friendly. Some restaurants nearby. The town of Somerset has not much to offer, but the proximity to the architectural masterpiece of FLR (which is otherwise exceptionally isolated), and the affordable rate of the good quality room are relevant "pros".”
