“si tratta di un albergo sporco nelle parti comuni con i giardini assolutamente incolti. nelle stanze c'era tappezzeria vinilica di dubbio gusto non confacente con lo stile dell'albergo. le porte delle parti comuni erano tutte usurate dal passaggio dei carrelli la vernice era consumata e si vedeva il legno. abbiamo pagato e siamo scappati via senza neanche soggiornarvi.”

“Lovely traditional seaside hotel in Largs, ideally placed for the beach. The hotel was very clean and comfortable and our hosts were so friendly and nice. My adult daughter and I stayed for 2 nights with our dogs and we had a fabulous time. Thank you :-)”

“Hotel itself is nice and very well located with wonderful view on the Harbour of Tarbert. Room size ok and bed comfortable. What they lacked was not informing that one slide-door of the shower box was broken. Unfortunately I only found out about the problem when I already was in the shower box and managed somehow to close it. When I noticed the problem to the staff, I was told the they were aware of the problem but 1. I was given the room anyway and 2. nobody has thought to tell me about the...

“There was a glitch with check in but the owner when contacted was on scene promptly and the issue was resolved quickly. Property is very convenient for restaurants and although the bathroom is not ensuite it is very clean and modern. ”

“The staff at the royal Marine would not do any more for you, the room was upgraded to a sea view and that was amazing, we sat and had two beautiful dinners, the dining room is redecorated wonderfully and they even did a santas grotto. It’s like fine dining for incredibly prices, I really wish more people start to visit so they can keep bringing this old hotel back to full glory, they deserve it. Would we stay again absolutely!! ”
