“The cabin we stayed it was unique, but lots of walking from your car on a slanted walkway. Shared den and the room smelled heavily of smoke from the inner fireplace. Small room and tiny old bathroom. Not what we were expecting from the pictures. Received an odd email about checkin but nothing told us the building near our cabin (room) was closed and we had to drive to the big building elsewhere. Very soft bed. “This is our third time staying here. The first time, the new owners had just bought it and explained that they were trying to fix it up from the old owners and apologized for the condition (cleanliness, tv’s not working, etc). With that in mind we stayed again last fall for a night and there were actually some slight improvements from the first time. Sadly, that was not the case this time. “This motel perfectly corresponds to our needs: easy to be reached by car, large parking, comfortable rooms, good quality hot buffet breakfast included in the reasonable rates. Smart person at the reception. 5 minutes by car from the Hopper House (which is our reason to visit Nyack, NY)”

“La struttura ai trova in una zona tranquilla da dove si puo raggiungere in circa 40 minuti New York con la macchina . Il parcheggio è comodo e c'è sempre qualcuno in reception che gentilmente è li ad assisterti se necessario. Le condizioni generali dell'hotel non sono ovviamente eccelse,ma quando si cerca il risparmio ci si deve aspettare che non si spicchi nelle cose che normalmente rendono un soggiorno piu costoso. Le stanze vengono rassettate ogni mattina e nonostante ci sia scritto chegli...

“The check in was relatively easy. The room smelled a little musty when we entered but putting on the AC/fan for a bit cleared that up. Rooms are only cleaned every two days which is fine but we needed extra towels so asked the cleaning lady and felt like it was a pretty big deal for her to give them to us. The breakfast is something to eat but not great. It’s a hard 10:00am shut down - doors are closing by 9:59.5 so don’t get caught inside.”

“Scelto come tappa intermedia nella discesa tra Niagara e New York, anche per la vicinanza al gigantesco (e conveniente rispetto ai prezzi italiani…) outlet di Woodbory Common. Reception deprimente. Due palazzine a piano singoli e una palazzina a due piani. Tipico da serie telefilm 😅… Colazione pessima … Personale che si dà fare con quel che ha.”
