“We had a death in the family that required us to be in Augusta for two days. Instead of traveling back and forth we chose to stay. We wanted a hotel with a pool the children could enjoy. This was a perfect place to stay, the price was reasonable and was close to where we needed to be. We were also able to check in early which was extremely helpful. ”

“Property was close to off road trails from the looks of all the others that were staying. We didn't have 4 wheel drive vehicle looks like that would have been a lot of fun. Everything was clean and plenty of space for 4 in our room. ”

Felt very comfortable and very at-home at Benson Cottage - a great place to unwind and enjoy what Nature and the Moosehead Lake region have to offer. Our host, Tara, was friendly, easy to communicate with and kept the cottage well-stocked and clean. We wanted for nothing. I sure hope we can come back before too long!”
