“Vacationed here for a short honeymoon stay. Great property. However, take into consideration that the property is a 3-hour drive from the airport and the hotel does not provide transportation (costs an additional $USD200 for private transportation from the airport). “Stayed 2 nights. Family of four (2 adults and 2 kids). The staff is very courteous and willing to help with anything from suggestions on tourist stops to restaurants. The location is very close to the cloud forest. Yay! The rooms are well cleaned and comfortable. You’re surrounded by trees/forest (very scenic). As a bonus, we had monkey’s playing outside in the trees next to us! Highly recommend!!”

“Eine schöne Unterkunft mit sehr freundlichem Inhaber (Freddie). Wir haben mit ihm eine Birdwatchingtour gemacht was wir jedem empfehlen können. Unser Zimmer (Nr. 4) hatte glücklicherweise drei Betten denn sonst hätten wir gar keine Ablagemöglichkeiten gehabt. “The cabin was in a pretty location on the side of a small lake — but the location doesn't match that on VRBO which states it's in La Fortuna town. It's actually several miles out of town, which was a problem for us since we didn't have a rental car and there's no public transport serving the area.
