“Our room was clean and comfortable. It was a good size and set up for a family as we needed. We were disappointed that the spa was closed, an odd decision to close the spa at the weekend when travellers are most likely to want to use it. Breakfast was a little underwhelming but plenty to choose from. The cereal packets were quite a long way out of date. The traffic was quite loud from our room at the front of the hotel. “Good, solid place. It really is a monastery with large grounds and impressive buildings. Welcome was very friendly and helpful. The property is dated, but in fairly good order. Bed was good. Breakfast was cereal and toast type. I was hoping for full breakfast but was not offered. Mirfield also a nice town/village, just avoid school closing time as very busy”

“The room was amazing very clean, comfortable and modern. The bed was very comfy. The shower was walk in and very hot. The view from our room shown the river and was very beautiful to look at The only thing about the room was the road traffic noise you could hear. The pub itself was very busy and the breakfast was really good. We also had a meal and that was brilliant too. The staff was very helpful and really informative. Would recommend a stay here.”
