“What a wonderful stay. The views were absolutely amazing. Kitchen well equipped. We bought live lobsters just $10 a lb from Hannafords (try also the French baguette) just 12 min drive and cooked them, clams and corn all in the steamer provided. Lounge seating very comfortable. Cooks corner area has everything incl Walmart superstore. David was a wonderful host. Could not speak too highly of him. He came out late at night when I could not work something out.”

“This place was very accommodating. Loved the welcome bottle of Chardonnay and the convenient Keurig coffee maker with a good assortment of coffee and tea. Perfect wrap-around porch with lovely views for morning coffee. We especially loved the short walk to the Niblic for "elevenses" - second breakfast. Perfect spot for family get-together on Chebeague.”

“We really appreciated walking on the beach... quick dips in the ocean, the stars, sleeping we the ocean sound, and the discovery of the sand beach at low tight is just amazing.”

“Dating from 1918, vacationing in this cottage was a quiet visual delight. The view from the front porch, overlooking the evergreen trees and blueberry bushes, out to the ever-changing ocean will stay in my mind throughout the year. The house itself is much the way it has always been, simple, rustic and quiet; off the beaten path, a retreat with few conveniences, a great place to look and contemplate, to read and draw. For us, it was perfect.”

“We stayed here last year, or maybe it was the year before, and it was very nice for each. Quiet, especially at night, out of the tourist-y busy-ness of the nearby Orchard Beach. A block walk to a beach entrance and some close-by walk-to and drive-to restaurants. A little Maine-sque-Tiki-Bar kind of place is a short walk away. Salty Bay I think - although I called it the Crusty Crab while we were there. I assume the Bayley people are girls, although I don't actually know that to be the case,...

“We had a great time in Maine and at our cabin. The only thing I would say is that the living room furniture needs a little updating. The bed was very comfortable and everything was clean. Thank you for your hospitality!!!”
