The Garden Escape

This stylish and well-proportioned two bedroom apartment is situated on the second floor of a period building with lift access. It forms part of Covent Garden's iconic characteristic architecture and is located in one of central London's most desirable neighbourhoods.

This apartment would ideally suit a couple or sharers as it has ample storage in both double bedrooms, one which boasts an en- suite bathroom. The generous and modern fully fitted kitchen is perfect for an occupant who likes to cook, and the dual aspect reception room accommodates a dining table perfect for entertaining and also boasts views of picturesque Bedford Street. The apartment has a contemporary feel throughout and also features a guest shower room and wooden floors.

The location runs parallel to the Strand and is directly south of the world famous Piazza which hosts an array of boutique and high end fashion stores, numerous restaurants and fashionable bars. Rules Restaurant, which claims to be London's oldest restaurant is less than 100 metres from the front door. Covent Garden (Piccadilly line) underground station and Charing Cross (Bakerloo and Northern lines) underground and overground station with connections to the south east of England are both within easy reach being just 450 metres and 300 metres respectively.

London Flat

Flat was nice in a great location. Property manager very quick to reply and fix issues. 2nd bathroom was so small other guests had to use master to dress and put makeup on. Kitchen was nice - only thing missing was a wine opener but hopefully was replaced by now!

Perfect Location

This place is in a GREAT location. 20 minute walk to Wesminster Abbey, Big Ben and other landmarks. There is an amazing market less than a five minute walk - tons of restaurants and shopping in this market. There are also lots of pubs and other restaurants all around. Couldn't have been happier with the location. Would stay here again and again.

Perfect location!

This flat is in walking distance to everything you may want during your stay. Theatre, ballet, restaurants, shopping, and the train are all within a short walking distance. Very nice!

Wrong and false information about reaching the Second floor

The problem of reaching the 2nd Floor with stairs of 23 steps made the appartement less comfortable than we expected. Also the radiator in the bathroom was cold.

Great Location

Location, location, location! This charming flat was central to all the activities we enjoyed. Access to two different Underground stations was easy. West End theater, the National Gallery, Somerset House (Courtauld Art Institute), Fortnum & Mason, the British Museum, meet up locations for walking tours, Westminster Abbey and more were within easy walking distance or brief Underground or cab rides. The flat was extremely clean and provided everything we needed. In the immediate neighborhood, restaurants, bars, pubs, shops, grocery store were conveniently located just up or down the block not to mention the beautiful shops of Covent Garden. There is even a good coffee shop in the same building on the ground floor. With two bedrooms & two baths, it was perfect for ourselves and our adult daughter. We had the primary suite with queen-sized bed (a rarity in Europe) that was quite comfortable and our daughter also had her own good-sized room (Queen sized bead too)with access to her own bathroom as well. The flat was very clean, quiet building with only a total of 4 flats (there is some street noise, but to be expected in the city) and as we were there during cold, wet January with chilly temperatures, it was very warm and cozy inside. Check-in was a breeze with a rep meeting us and showing us all amenities in person (great WiFi) and answering all our questions. Check-out was simple. Highly recommend this place for a great stay.

NO DOUBT The Best Place to Stay

No doubt. This was our very best place to stay in London. Having been there many times and always staying in one VRBO or another, this one takes the cake, as far as location, space and comfort. The host was very accommodating and very helpful for check in. The space is light, bright and open and very well appointed. Being in the heart of Covent Garden, the location simply can't be beat. Will return without hesitation.

Great Location

We had a nice stay at the Garden Escape in Covent Garden. We were first timers to London from the United States & it was conveniently located for transportation via the tube entrances on Leicester Square and Charing Cross. It provided two bedrooms each with a king bed, one of which is attached to the bigger of the two bathrooms. The second bathroom is quite a bit smaller but still functional. A large living room for winding down at the end of a day filled with walking around seeing all the city has to offer. There’s a Tesco Express located just down the street in case you need anything. Be prepared to climb a couple flights of stairs to get to the apartment. The host was accommodating with arrival & departure times and the check in/out process was very easy. Would book again for a future trip.

Really enjoyable stay!

We stayed nine days at this property. Fantastic location, right in the heart of everything. Some travelers might find it a little bit noisy some nights because it is in such a popular spot, but the trade off is worth it, for us anyway. The check-in process was very easy, the property looked as advertised. We had a great time, would stay again!

Great Location for Seeing the London Sights

Property is in the middle of Covent Garden. You are surrounded by great restaurants and shopping and minutes from tube station. We were able to walk down to Big Ben, Parliament, Westminster Abbey. A big longer to Buckingham and St Paul's Cathedral, put on your walking shoes and go! This flat offers 2 bed and 2 bath (small but functional) and if you are looking to be out enjoying the city it is a great spot. You are in the middle of everything, so beware that there is city noise at all hours, so this is not a tranquil, relaxing setting. It is for those who want to see and do everything London has to offer.

Location location location!

We had a really good stay in this apartment and wish it could have been longer. The location was perfect just behind covent garden piazza. We were within walking distance of The Lyceum theatre where we saw the Lion King and can thoroughly recommend. We could walk to many other places ie Trafalgar and Leicester Squares, Chinatown and even returning from Buckingham Palace. The host was great at accommodating us with arrival and leaving times and making sure we had everything we could need. We will definately use the apartment again when visiting London and will recommend to family and friends.

Great place... It is actually better than the pictures and the location is second to none with all the shops and restaurants within walking distance and the tube is 5 minutes away.
