Belvedere Lodge is a prestigious 3-bedroom, 2-bath luxury cabin in its own private gated area — located on the award-winning Shorefield Country Park, near Milford on Sea and the town of Lymington.
As well as being close to both the Hampshire and Dorset coastlines, you'll be a short drive from the stunning New Forest National Park, with its quaint villages, breath-taking scenery, and incredible wildlife.
The facilities at Shorefield are included in your stay and are ideal for family holidays.
The space
You'll be hard-pressed to find a more premium option at Shorefield Country Park than Belvedere Lodge — tucked away in a quiet cul-de-sac, within gated and fenced private grounds, alongside a small number of similar spec lodges.
Viewing from the exterior, the smart light stone-coloured cladding with green window & door frames, and glass wrap-around balcony — immediately confirms this is no ordinary lodge!
After parking in your own private bay and heading up a few steps to the front door, you'll walk into a simply stunning light-filled, brightly finished, open plan kitchen diner lounge, with an impressive ceiling height and cabin width.
The whole lodge is beautifully decorated in warm yet bright tones, internal wall cladding, cosy carpets, oak flooring, and delightful soft furnishings and furniture throughout, giving it a premium yet very homely feel.
The L-shaped kitchen is fully integrated with all the mod-cons, including fridge freezer, dishwasher, a washer dryer, oven & hob and plenty of drawer and cupboard storage. The units have a light grey finish, whilst the worktop is completed in a stunning oak wood.
Inside the kitchen drawers and cupboards you'll find a range of cookware, dinnerware, cutlery, crockery and glassware; whilst on top of the worktop are small appliances such as microwave, kettle, and toaster — to meet all your self-catering needs.
A dining area has been set up between the kitchen and balcony doors, on a simple yet contemporary oak dining table set, with four super-comfy and stylish padded chairs.
The lounge side of the open plan space features some lovely free-standing duck-egg fabric sofas and armchairs, easily enough for six to relax on. This space is the perfect place to unwind, and has a cabinet with games and books in, and a 58" Samsung Smart 4K Ultra HD TV.
Toward the rear of the lodge is a luxury kingsize ensuite bedroom, complete with a super-comfy kingsize mattress, plush carpets underfoot, and storage units, including bedside cabinets and a wardrobe. In the ensuite shower room is a large walk-in shower, basin, toilet, and storage cabinet, in a sleek modern finish.
Off the hallway are two twin single bedrooms which are perfect for younger members of the family, as well as adults alike. They are both lovely cosy bedrooms with two single beds, bedside storage, wardrobe, carpets, and a big window for natural light.
Also off the hallway is a practical family bathroom with shower over a full size bath, basin, toilet and storage units.
On to the substantial private balcony, through the lounge windows, you'll find a delightful round outdoor dining table set for four people, as well as a large 3-seat rattan style outdoor sofa to enjoy in the warmer months.
There is central heating, an iron and board, and one allocated parking bay.
The accommodation is child friendly, and features a high chair and travel cot for infants.
