I recently stayed at this hotel, expecting the usual benefits of my Gold Elite status, but unfortunately, I was highly disappointed. Hotel did not honor the perks associated with my loyalty level, including the promised 2pm late check-out. They seemed to have their own set of policies in place that completely ignored the Marriott Bonvoy program’s established benefits, which I find unacceptable for a property using Marriott's name.
The room itself was incredibly small, and honestly, didn’t feel like the quality I’ve come to expect from a Marriott-affiliated hotel. Additionally, the Muslim shower didn’t have adequate water pressure, making it difficult to use. While I understand the property is new, there are a number of issues that still need to be addressed—especially with the overall upkeep of the rooms and amenities.
The check-in experience was also frustrating, as the staff seemed poorly trained and unprepared to handle basic customer service, especially for loyal Bonvoy members. It was clear that they lacked the necessary knowledge or training to deliver a seamless experience.
If this hotel isn’t going to honor the Marriott Bonvoy benefits or properly train their staff, they shouldn’t be using the Marriott name. I won’t be returning until these issues are properly addressed.
