“Property was clean, quiet, and well kept. We enjoyed seeing deer walking the property on a daily basis. Indoor pool was great as the open glass gave it an outdoor feel. “Needed a place to stay while taking woodworking classes nearby at Dale Barnard’s Woodworking School. Worked out perfectly. Really enjoyed chilling in the evening while rocking on the porch listening to the sounds of the country. Very much enjoyed meeting and chatting with our hosts Darrell and Vivian. Very delightful people. Cabin lived up to its billing as ‘Cozy’ and ‘Comfortable’. Also enjoyed meeting Major.”

“We were fortunate to have the hill too ourselves, beautiful view from hill, but views limited in cabins 2, 3 & 4. Cabin 1 had the best cabin view. Cabin 3 & 4 is a duplex with only a latch door to separate you. We stayed in cabin 3 it was very clean and quaint. Enjoyed a quiet night on the hill with a firepit and the fire wood provided. The hot tub was very nice, but located down by the main house which requires you too drive down and park . The host was very polite and helpful when available....

“My wife and I celebrated our 27th anniversary. The cottage was nice. Tammy the property manager was friendly and easily accessible. She shared her knowledge of the area and recommended good restaurants. It was chilly for our stay, so we didn’t get to explore the grounds, but they looked beautifully kept.”

“Overall, this property is exactly as listed. It’s in a great location. The only issues we had were lack of toilet paper and paper towels and the cleanliness of the hot tub and back deck. There is a lack of water pressure in the shower. Nathan was very responsive when we contacted him. He is a new owner of this property, so hopefully this review will help him address easily corrected issues.”

“Everything was lovely. Only issue was the back door upper lock was difficult and a thumping sound on the roof at night. Other than that, we really loved being there at such a cozy place. It was quiet, very clean and of we'd paid attention, we would have packed less because they literally provide everything. We plan on returning next year”

“I recently visited Southern IN for a golf trip and had the pleasure of staying in the Mitchell’s cabin. Fully stocked kitchen, great outdoor area and super comfy king bed in the upstairs loft. I managed to leave something pretty important behind, and Martha was very accommodating getting it returned to me.
