“Everything was good. Breakfast was better than we thought it would be. If we had one complaint, it would be that the “suites” are not suites in our opinion. When it’s advertised as “separate bedroom” we felt that description implied more than what it actually was, which to us, it was just a deluxe King size room, not “suite” or “separate”. “We lived in the area when the hotel was brand new. Now, 50y later, it is still cosy and comfortable. The owners are tastefully & thoughtfully remodeling the rooms. Our room was very nicely modernized. Staff was friendly and helpful. We appreciated the reasonable cost, especially since we had been in large "chain" hotels in SoCal for an extended period of time.”
