“Ho soggiornato solo sei ore su sette giorni prenotati perché ho avuto un problema grave di salute e non mi è stato rimborsato un centesimo su un importo enorme versato. La comunicazione con il proprietario scarsa, le luci dell atrio e del boschetto bruciate quindi risultava inagibile di sera e non in sicurezza. La tv solo in tedesco. Il cinema non ho potuto usufruirlo perché alle mie richieste mi hanno risposto dopo giorni. Pulizia della casa non perfetta. Posizione e panorama stupenda....

“Le séjour s'est bien passé. Il faudrait améliorer le système de douche dans la baignoire et y installer un rideau. Les lits sont un peu trop fermes. À part cela, la maison est confortable et très bien située.”

“If you are looking at visiting the Lake Como area with your kids, or other families, I strongly recommend Mandello and Villa Ornella. The layout of the house is great, the size perfect to accommodate 2 or even 3 families and Furio was a great host. It was just me and my wife and our 3 young (and restless) boys and we had a great time. The pool and the living room with the amazing veranda were perfect family entertainment areas. The location is great as well - Mandello is close to everything yet...

“Beautiful old villa in a wonderful neighborhood outside of Menaggio. It was just what we were looking for. The manager was very responsive to all communications. Because the villa is so old, there were some tech issues that the manager was quick to resolve (tripped circuits when cooking, internet). Bedrooms had cold AC. The town was a pleasure to explore, including a woodsy trail to a WWI memorial overlooking the lake. Manager put us in touch with some wonderful chefs who cooked in the...

“There were no surprises when we arrived and checked out the house. It was very thoughtful that there were some food items for our arrival. Everything worked fine and the owner was responsible for a couple of maintenance issues. The yard lights did not come on the last two nights and we missed them. Getting around the area by walking is a little sketchy because the roadway is narrow. We found the ferry stop 10 minutes from the house very convenient.”

“The property and views were wonderful and Mr. Luigi was fantastic. PLEASE do yourself a favor and enter the address into Google or Apple Maps and DO NOT rely on the map within the VRBO app. It is wrong. This Villa is up the hill in Perledo and not very accessible walking. We made due but it was certainly not where VRBO leads you to believe it is.”

“Loved our time at this property. We had 14 people and it worked out great. Location so close to the lake was fabulous and we could easily get to the ferry and train stations. Host David was fabulous and always available. Going to Bellagio and Varenna and Mennagio was great since there are no lines at Colico and it is quiet, peaceful and away from tourists at this property. I would recommend and would go back again to this property. Grass area was great for our grandkids to play on and hot tub...

“L'appartamento mansardato al secondo piano della bella villa da noi affittato è comodo e carino. L'unico neo del posto, che ovviamente non toglie fascino all'appartamento, sono tutti gli scalini che vanno dalla strada al secondo piano della villa. Comunque esperienza positiva.”
