“Up to now, after much travel, my favourite hotel is Coul House near Inverness. The Neue Post joins it at the top of my list. It is an elegant, wonderfully designed building..Two conjoined in fact. The whole place is gorgeous and elegant and the staff are wonderful. It must take a huge amount of skill and planning to produce such quality and attention to detail. They have succeeded. “Great valley location, great food, sauna with a view. Wonderful hotel. No Tyrol vibe though (upscale pricing changes the atmosphere). Dining experience: This hotel has about 4 or 5 dining rooms. Was seated as the only person in one room. Multiple requests for a seating change without result. I actually believe the waitress gave a f*. Went to talk to receptionist, e voila, got a decent table. Somebody also put an extra drink from the bar on my room number. Ok. ”
