“Nice homely atmosphere. Clean, comfortable and Breakfast freshly cooked and served in pleasant surroundings. Come and go if you please and self cater if you want to. Sarah and her Mum are most welcoming and checking in and out was faultless. A great place to stay and would do it again. Plenty of space to park.”

“For the price we paid the hotel was absolutely fine. Lovely leisure facilities, nice biscuits with the tea and coffee tray. Lift’s available. Bar and restaurant and food were good. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Sadly it’s all a bit tired. Cracks in plaster around the building, dark decor just in need of TLC but as I said before, this was reflected in a very good price. I would definitely book here again.”

“To be fair we stayed at this hotel during the hottest week of the year but it was boiling! Our rooms were on the top floor so that didnt help either but the water pipes in the room were roasting, the windows didnt open fully because of the safety features and the water didnt get very cold to help cool us down. Even with 2 fans on in the room the heat in there was unbearable. We ended up having to put wet towels on us in an attempt to keep cool. Food was ok but not great and the garden furniture...

While walking barefoot in the room, I felt something sharp under my foot — it was a piece of nail that a previous guest had cut and left on the floor, which clearly hadn’t been cleaned properly. It was obvious the room was not clean, but since I needed to rest, I decided to mention it at the reception before leaving.
