“Booked the hotel because of its proximity to the private hospital, being close to the city, and the apartments being in a quiet area. The apartments are very clean and well maintained. “This is one of the best places we’ve stayed in. We weren’t in the main house but were in the Watarah Cottage at the back of the back of the property. This building was free standing so was incredibly quiet. The kitchen was really well equipped, the bed was very comfortable and there was a whole separate dressing room to store luggage and other stuff. The breakfast in the main house was great…excellent service from Kathy! I highly recommend this place and would stay again if in Hobart. ”

“This was the nicest accommodation that we had whilst in Tasmania for our holiday. It had everything that you need, and is very homely. “Was really pleasantly surprised at how good the room was for a pub room. The bathroom was very modern, the room was comfortable and the staff were amazing. Would definitely stay again. My only one thing was there was what sounded like a fan that ran outside somewhere overnight so for light sleepers it may irriate light sleepers, but it didn't bother me. ”

“This hotel/motel was a great find! Our room (number 7) had an amazing view over Hobart and the water. Rooms are spacious and have really comfortable beds. Water pressure in shower was excellent. Air cond/heating works really well. We loved being able to have the windows open too. Staff were really friendly and there's a mini mart a short walk away.
