Quiet upper unit close to Uptown -Close to Lakes and downtown

Beautifully updated and furnished home in the Lyndale neighborhood, only blocks away from Lake Harriet and Lake Bde Maka Ska, as well as the wonderful restaurants in Uptown and Kingfield.
The home features three comfortable bedrooms, a full bath, a fully-equipped kitchen and a large private deck. Two bedrooms feature queen-sized beds, and the third bedroom has trundle twin beds. An inflatable queen air mattress is available upon request.
Coffee, tea, and juice is provided for your stay. Private in-unit laundry and a work-station are included.
There is plenty of free street (safe) parking. If you plan to use public transportation, we are one block from the metro transit stop which will connect you to Downtown, Edina, Bloomington, and the airport..
Perfect accommodation for couples, families, business people, or small groups.
Initial toiletries provided (soap/shampoo/conditioner/laundry soap/toilet paper).
Our house rules include a guest maximum and quiet time after 10 pm. No parties, late night loud music, etc.

Comfortable and roomy.

Family Minnesota trip
The apartment is very clean and friendly. The back deck is lovely. It is on a somewhat busy street so be prepared for street noise. It is in a great neighborhood with several great eating places nearby on 36th. Very walkable. It worked out very well for our one week stay to visit with family.

Great for family of 4
Very clean, easy check in, good communication with host. Beds were comfortable and kitchen had everything we needed. Easy walk to a few restaurants and corner stores. Right on the bus line that goes downtown and not too far from the lakes. Only drawbacks were some traffic noise from Lyndale in the front bedrooms (to be fair, I live rural so I'm just not used to it) and also not much space to gather except the kitchen table (it is three bedrooms plus a kitchen so no living room -- though one bedroom could be used as a den). However, there is a nice porch out back that seats 6 when the weather is good. Overall good stay!!

Surprise Birthday
My brothers and I stayed here to surprise our dad on his 80th birthday. It was in a convenient spot to all festivities. We particularly enjoyed spending time on the deck during downtime.

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment. Our party had 4 members, and there was plenty of space for the four of us. The apartment was lovely, and the host was excellent: communicative and accommodating. For our weeklong stay, the washing machine and dryer proved very useful. The area is in a quiet and safe area, and near enough to several bus routes for easy travel into and back from the Uptown area. If we ever find ourselves in Minneapolis again, we will make every effort to book this same apartment!

As Comfortable as Home, but Better
I have stayed in many VRBO locations; this one felt the most like home. My husband and I stayed here for 10 days, and were joined for a few days by our two adult sons (one stayed with us two nights, the other stayed with cousins but joined us for leisurely lunches on the deck). We gathered at different locations with about 20 family members over the first weekend, and then stayed another week to visit old friends and simply enjoy being in my hometown in summertime (a walk around Lake Harriet on a night when a band was playing in the bandshell, shows at the Guthrie and Circus Juventas, lunch at Cecil's Deli). The location was ideal fo reach most locations quickly. The owner went above and beyond to be sure we would be comfortable during our stay. There were so many screened windows; we had a good cross-breeze and never needed to turn on the air conditioning despite the warm weather outside. The deck has a large table and very comfortable chairs--so relaxing. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook most of our meals and feel at home. I hope to return here some day.

Lovely Getaway Close to all the Twin City attractions
I came up for a quick midweek getaway to see family and this was such a wonderful surprise stay! Close to everything, restaurants, shops, and downtown, so comfortable , spacious and clean! The private outdoor deck was such a treat for enjoying my morning coffee and an evening relaxing beverage before bedtime. Will definitely be back!

Met our needs
The property was clean and neat, and our host was communicative. It's an upstairs apartment-type dwelling. Having laundry machines was a big plus on a multi-let trip like this one. The bedrooms were comfortable and spacious. This was our 3rd VRBO in 3 cities in 6 days. We were really tired, and I did wish there was more of a hang-out area indoors. (There's a small couch by the washer and a small table & chairs in the kitchen.) I didn't really pay attention to this listing that closely, but we were able to sit outside on the deck in lieu of a proper living room / family room setup. The unit is cooled with window A/C units. There's one in each bedroom, and one in the kitchen. They were quite effective in keeping the temperature in check, but window units are not quiet so there was that. I've lived in a house with no A/C - I'll take a little noise over hot any day! I think it's best suited for travelers who need a place to sleep and shower and have things to go do and see.

Great experience!
We were so happy with this VRBO experience. We had plenty of space and only needed two of the bedrooms. We need lab to come back next year and bring one more couple! The decor and detail in all the rooms was lovely — and having the deck off the kitchen was a huge bonus for us this weekend! And the hosts provided plenty of towels and good coffee as well! The area was good and parking on the street was always plentiful. Great place and great stay!

Our Own Little Home
It was wonderful to be in such a great neighborhood with so many great restaurants and all of our necessities close by. Even with a snow emergency, our hosts made room for us to park by them and made us feel right at home. We were close to my family, and able to enjoy our holidays with them.. but loved having our own little home to retreat to each night. Access was simple, location was prime, and the hosts (living downstairs) were incredible and kind!

Great experience, quiet location
I was searching for a place to stay with my family so that we could all attend a family baby shower. This listing was perfect for what we needed! The communication by the host was great, they kept in touch throughout the stay. The place was very clean and well-kept. The inclusion of the ground coffee, ice, and water filter was very helpful. It would also be great if a toaster oven and a screen door for the patio could be included for future stays. Overall, a great experience and parking was very easy.
