Excellent Pick!
We loved this property and would recommend it to anyone wanting to visit the area. It was a girl's get away and all of us had the same feeling about the house. The decor was welcoming and everything was very clean. The kitchen was perfectly stocked with dishes, utensils etc. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were spotless. Any questions we had were answered almost immediately by the Host. Our only regret was that the weather didn't allow us to grill or use the firepit...next time!

Quiet and relaxing
We booked this so we could attend the Balloon and Blues Fest in a near by town. It was nice to spend the rest of our time in a home where we were together and could relax. The house was nice and very clean. We love the country living so it felt like home. Communication was good with the host with a good response time. The bed was a little to firm for me but the guys liked them. Overall it was the right choice for us and we enjoyed our stay.

This was a wonderful, secluded get away for my husband and me! Very relaxing stay for us!
The home was clean and quiet and very comfortable. We spent time on both the upstairs and downstairs porches drinking coffee in the morning, a little wine in the evenings. The only scary thing is the driveway up for me. No problem for my husband, though! Great place!! Would stay here again!

Great clean place
This is a beautiful home with all of the necessities. It is one of the cleanest homes we have rented and we rent homes 6 or more times a year. The location was excellent, close to a few quaint towns yet all the priavcy and seclusion of being in the country. The owner was kind and responsive to any questions i had. We had a very relaxing time with family! I 100% recommend this place.

Weekend Getaway

Great HQ for New Glarus Weekend
We – 2 couples – spent another most enjoyable weekend in the New Glarus area. This was our second time spending a long weekend at this property. I feel that the best recommendation is, “Yes, I would stay there again.” This is obviously true for us and this property (and, yes, we will be staying there again.) The house was as described, in great condition, spotless and well equipped for our weekend stay (linens, towels and all the necessary stuff.) The only discrepancy in the description is that there IS internet access (which works fairly well from most parts of the house and property.) The backyard and the firepit (with firewood and starter provided) is one of our favorite features about the property. The owners are very easy to work with as well.

Great house in southern Wisconsin
The house was great, plenty of room great outdoor patio and fire pit area. Had all the supplies we need to enjoy our stay. Close to several small towns that were fun to visit and not a far drive to Madison either. Really enjoyed our stay.

Great stay
The property was clean accurately described. The fire pit is a nice feature the grill was ready to go. Everything was clean and ready. Motorcyclists if you're staying there know that the driveway is very steep however just throttle to the top. It's plenty flat up on top and easy to turn around. The garage easily fit five bikes and a trailer. I strongly recommend this place. Do some research on the area the roads and that part of Wisconsin and some of Northern Illinois and along the river are amazing.

Annual Family Trip
Our family takes an annual trip together. This year, we traveled to New Glarus and stayed at this lovely home. It is in a great location, just minutes from town. The property was beautiful with a large yard for us to play yard games, have a bonfire, and grill some sweet corn that was generously left for us by the owners. The rooms were comfortable and spacious with plenty of extra pillows and blankets. We were thankful for dual zone central air with how warm it was outside during our stay. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked with extra items too. The owners communicated with us before our stay and were very responsive. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you!!

Perfect place
We really loved this property! The house was super clean and had a homey cottage feel. The yard was amazing, large and private. It even had a swingset which got a lot of use during our stay. I loved the dual thermastats, made sleeping at night much more comfortable. Would definitely come back!
