“Everything is ok”

“Beautiful view, easy to get to, plenty of parking, friendly staff. Decent breakfast for a continental one, although the coffee was quite weak. Room was very clean and comfortable. There was loud wind noise coming from under the front door, so I had to block it with a rolled up towel. Adding rubber strips to the bottom of the door should fix that. Otherwise I'd stay there again.”

“The room was very clean. The heater/AC unit is kinda noisy but it kept the temp well. The breakfast was sparse. Cold cereal, toast and waffles. No muffins or fruit. Coffee was good. ”

“A classic hotel right out of the great Gatsby. Accommodations were interesting because they were genuine and true to that time. But it is elegant and luxurious in a charming old school way. I highly recommend it!”

The only thing we experienced was not good was we have received a restaurant charges on our bill which I always paid my credit card physically at the restaurant register and never charged to our room but the staff refunded all the restaurant charges to my card was charged to our room. “The room was clean and comfortable. The setting of the property is on the Columbia river. Beautiful views but hands down the best part of Wisecliff is the gardens. Just gorgeous. It was such a treat to be there. I wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommend.”

“This is a family and pet friendly place to stay. It is right in the middle of town pretty much within walking distance.”

“One of the reasonable rates in the area and we knew it was historical so we knew it was older so we were afraid ot would be dated. We were pleasantly surprised to find modern amenities while still maintaining the history. We were greeted by an incredibly friendly staff. Wonderful bar and breakfast in the morning. We were upgraded to a river view and slept with the windows open listening to the on site waterfall and woke to a glorious gorge sunrise.”

“Disappointed in our day was really gross even to look at on our first night. Stay there this morning. We woke up two in our bed as well as all the nightstand. I reported it to the front desk and it came on or did something but yet the very next day we still woke up to ants but just not as many. I would not stay here again.”

“It was a great location and the remodel is nice. Cafe very pleasant with a good menu. We did have some issues with slow wi-fi with the TV but otherwise everything was great.”

“The unfriendly staff”

“Upon arrival the receptionist was nice and she promised that she will move us to a new room facing the river the next morning. Next morning the receptionist was not friendly and grumpy. We did end up getting a new room in afternoon, but her customer service was terrible. This probably would be the last time for us there!”

“The front desk staff was friendly and welcoming. The lobby and bar area was beautiful, and my room was so cute! I got a tiny room and it was just right for a solo overnight stay. Toiletries were lovely and I got to use the spa area soaking tub as well. The location is so close to everything. The only drawback was the street parking, but I was able to find a close spot each time I parked.”
