“Great view, relaxing and quite”

“We were disappointed with our stay at Carson Resort. We specifically booked a certain bed/room configuration, but after checking in a getting to our room it was not what we had reserved. There was no communication about this change prior to arrival or even when checking in face to face at the front desk. “Room was very reasonably priced and clean. We have stayed here twice and we love the buildings location and old charm! That being said, my only real complaint is that they need some type of air conditioning…it is listed on their website but that is not true at all. We have visited in October and April, both cooler months at night, but even with the cooler night temperatures, the rooms were terribly hot. La nostra stanza era molto ampia ma piuttosto buia e rumorosa a causa dell'impianto di condizionamento; abbiamo fatto presente il disagio alla reception e sono intervenuti per sistemare il problema. “The continental breakfast was fresh and warm. Loved their fresh ground coffee. Easy to get on and off the freeway. Good pizza at Spooky's just 0.2mi west of the hotel. The room was clean, up-to-date, and quiet. Loved the Blacout shades, it was 9am before I got out of bed because I thought it was still dark out.”

“Overall, this hotel is quite nice. It is conveniently located and has helpful staff, views of the Columbia River & a dam on the river (nothing spectacular, but enjoyable enough), a pleasant lounge, and a decent connected restaurant/bar. The arrangement in our room was well-designed, and the bed was quite comfortable. The room itself was exceptionally well-insulated from outside noise, and I would have given a higher rating if the heater/air conditioner wasn't so noisy. ”
