“The room was clean, really big tv and the beds adequately comfortable, nothing super fancy but just what you need for a relaxing stay. Fridge in the room and coffee maker but no microwave which would have been nice. They do provide shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Loved the Therapy pool and cold plunge. Also sat outside at the fire pit one evening which was nice to chat with other guests. The nearby restaurant at the golf course Isadore’s was great for happy hour. Loved our server Rylan. Also...

The "desk" was a night stand with a foot rest for a "chair". Very poor for a traveling business person with medication requiring refrigeration. Left a day early on...

The only thing we experienced was not good was we have received a restaurant charges on our bill which I always paid my credit card physically at the restaurant register and never charged to our room but the staff refunded all the restaurant charges to my card was charged to our room. “This property is noisy—all hall noise (there was plenty with young kids running around and slamming their room doors until 11:30 P) was heard plus some rooms are close to an interstate on-ramp, so engine acceleration heard.No full room darkening curtains so light from cars on that ramp was bothersome. Breakfast was ok. At checkin the hotel clerk said my room number out loud so others in the lobby heard it—that’s been a no no for years now. No elevator which was stated in the description, but...

“This is a family and pet friendly place to stay. It is right in the middle of town pretty much within walking distance.”

I always appreciate older, classic properties, and the Columbia Gorge Hotel and Spa is a gem. Great, comfortable room, great food at Valentino's, and grounds that make you want to explore. The price was great, and we'll stay again the next time we're in town.”
