“This was a very cozy room with a lovely view and amazing outdoor patio (that we didn’t get to enjoy as our stay was too short ;( I hope to stay again next time I’m in SC! It’s exactly as pictured and the bed was incredibly comfortable. You won’t be disappointed : ) Also, it’s a nice quiet location not too far from UCSC, downtown and the beach. (Short drive to each)”

“I don't want to hype this place too much because I love it and plan to go back again. 🙂♥️ I stayed a few days with just myself and my little dog the first time, I went. And then came back with my sister & nephew. First stay the hosts left a bottle of wine for me and treats for my dog. I was able to stay again with my sister. This time they left a complete s'mores kit which we enjoyed. Great spot. Super convenient. Will definitely be back. :) ”

“The property was beautiful, well equipped with everything needed and so very pleasant. The outside gardens and deck made it feel all the more spacious. We enjoyed having breakfast out front in the morning and hanging out on the deck in the afternoons. It is a perfect retreat. Vivian was a lovely host. It couldn't have been a more special place. “Great little cottage. Very clean and tidy. Didn’t realize there was no door between bedroom and bath, which made a stay for 3rd person (sleeping on the couch) a bit weird. Would recommend this place for couples, though! ”

“The only great thing about this listing were the beds. It was next to the main road entering Carmel so it is noisy and the property is actually not a home (this site is called vacation rentals by owners, right?) it is a run down inn. The bathroom has not been renovated in ages and the drain let off a sulphur scent that could be smelled in the bedroom. The description mentions an outdoor terrace but it is just an unappealing space off the parking space.”
