“The property and hotel are located in a beautiful spot with amazing views of Mt. Shasta. Nice hotel, good staff but the night we stayed, was noisy with students until they all calmed down. I would stay here again.”

“2nd trip to Shasta and stayed in the Whitney Cottage again. Everything is so homey and the cottage has everything you will need for a wonderful and comfortable stay. The host is awesome and is very quick to respond if you have a question. There is a wonderful notebook there with information on anything you might want to do in Shasta. The hiking information is particularly comprehensive. I'll definitely be back.”

“Our family had a wonderful weekend in this house. The bedrooms fit our family's needs and everything was just easy and do-able. It was comfortable and casual with extra bedding and towels, a washer/dryer, and everything else you'd need for a winter weekend away. We were close enough to Mt. Shasta for easy drives to and from skiing. We'd love to stay here again. ”

“Overall, I liked this place. It was charming and the staff very friendly. I think my largest complaint is that the bathroom is freezing during the fall/winter/spring. It's not heated, and sitting on the ice cold toilet seat made me not want to go. Not sure how this issue could be resolved, but the experience would be so much better if I didn't fear going to the bathroom.”

“Overall my stay was 9/10. The room is spacious with everything you need and match what’s listed in the description from the hotel. The two downside of the hotel was the bed it was hard as a rock and not comfortable at all & the shower. The shower head was not adjustable & the pressure was high. I’m 5’3 so is sprayed directly in my face with tremendous force. So I had to stand off to the side which was an annoyance. Otherwise everything was great.
