My husband and I stayed here for about 3 weeks in May, 2024. We have stayed in the Mountain Home area previously, so we were familiar with the area. This home is a little more out in the country than our other stays, but is a quick 12 minute drive to the nearest major grocery store, and 16 minutes or so to the heart of Mountain Home where there is an abundance of shopping and places to eat. We were very comfortable in this home our entire stay. A big screen TV with roku is already present in the main living area. Internet speeds are fast and we had no trouble connecting throughout the house. There are plenty of extra pillows and blankets. The only thing in the kitchen we missed was a toaster. Otherwise, plates, cookware and cutlery was abundant. The major appliances look like new, although for the refrigerator there is no water hooked up to it, so the water and ice dispensers won't work. Plan on bagged ice if not making your own ice cubes. While we didn't do any boating or fishing on this trip, this house is very well suited for those who are - lots of room for guests and vehicles. Outside there is a nice seating area around a fire pit, and a very nice 5 or 6 burner gas grill that still looked like new. While some parts of the home give a hint to its age (older cabinets) it was very clean and the decor is all about making guests feel like this is their vacation home. Overall for the price, this is a really great value and we'd stay here again.
