Immerse yourself in the serenity of the tropical gardens, where the melodious coquis will gently lull you to sleep and the distinctive chorus of indigenous hawaiian birds will greet you each morning. Positioned between Hilo and Volcano National Park, this home and its grounds provide a secure and peaceful haven, serving as an ideal starting point for exploring the wonders of this magnificent island. You will enjoy grilling on a new grill with five burners, plus side stove and serving your masterpiece right there in the spacious outdoor dining area. Cozy up around a fire pit gazing at the stars roasting marshmallows. No matter what you do, you'll enjoy and rejuvenate yourself staying in this home I call "The Beehive".

Unique house near Volcano Park
Stayed for only one night. 20 minutes from the park. House is spacious, quirky and lovely (it is a geodesic dome). Secluded yard with large covered back deck we enjoyed. Jenny is a gracious host who met us and toured the house with us, explaining everything along the way. House was clean with lots of linens and a fridge full of condiments and such free for us to use. House can easily sleep a large family.

Private getaway
Situated between Volcanos National Park and Hilo, this is a unique home with everything we needed to recharge for our next adventure on the Big Island. The kids liked playing hide-and-seek in this spacious home.The home is in a private residential area where dense forest and a private gate in the driveway all but guarantee privacy.The host was made us tea from a local plant, which was a nice touch.

hidden gem
we needed a place for 10 of us to stay, close to volcano. this was a wonderful, affordable option in a really quirky space! everyone was comfortable, the host was super responsive and helpful, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. the property is in a secluded, out of the way spot too, but grocery store was only 15 min away.
