The Ninole Hale is a duplex with two separate dwellings. This listing is for the ground floor unit.
We’re situated on 1.5 acres on the beautiful Hamakua coast on the east side of Hawaii. We have stunning ocean views and border a year-round stream. You can often hear waves crashing from the lanai as well as the waterfall that borders the property.
The home has two ocean view bedrooms with queen beds. The spacious primary bedroom has a walk through closet. The bathroom has a stacked washer and dryer.
There is a well-stocked kitchen to make as many meals at home as you desire. A lanai spans the width of the home and is the perfect spot to enjoy meals, sip beverages, and whale watch.
There is a shared green space on the side of the home for yard games, playing catch with the kids, or enjoying some sunshine.
Ninole Hale is Located on the Hilo side of the beautiful Hamakua Coast, Hilo is only 22 miles down a breathtaking coastal view highway which is only about a 20-30 minute drive. The Hāmākua Coast is one of the most beautiful stretches of scenery on the island. The region boasts lush tropical rainforests, stunning waterfalls and tranquil green valleys. Enjoy the perks of being close to all the amenities and beaches of Hilo but far enough away from the hustle and bustle to enjoy the relaxing quiet and serenity of country life.
Ninole Hale is surrounded by some of the Big Island most beautiful attractions.
You can get to historic Laupahoehoe Point Beach Park in under 10 minutes. Surf, bodyboard or sunbathe at Honoli'i beach, approximately 20 min away. Stunning Akaka Falls is just 20 minutes away. If you're in the mood for soaking up the sun in Hawaii’s world renowned Northern Kona golden coast, take a breathtaking drive along the coastal highway west where the white sand beaches begin about an 75 minute drive away.
Guest access:
The main entrance is on the lanai. You have a dedicated parking space at the bottom of the driveway.
Other things to note:
Please note, The Ninole Hale 2 is a duplex and this unit is on the ground floor. There is a possibility that the upstairs unit may be occupied during your stay. If that is the case, you can hear footsteps above you. If you are sensitive to that, we would recommend you reserve the top unit also listed on VRBO as The Ninole Hale.
We have pets that live on the property. Our two French bulldogs live in our home with us and roam the yard when we are home. They are not allowed into the rental space, but if you like dogs they will enjoy saying hello out in the yard.
There is also an outdoor cat who roams our property along with our 6 chickens.
